Portishead have recorded a new album
Tue:27-Nov-07

With their debut, Dummy (1994) and the follow up self titled album, Portishead gained a cult following that has continued to the present day.  With only a couple of solo releases from members Ardrian Utley and Beth Gibbons respectively, the band has spent the majority of the last ten years in the musical wilderness.  However, with only finishing touches left to go on their newly recorded album, it is possible that we will be hearing some fresh material by the end of the year, in line with their appearance at All Tommorrow's Parties - Nightmare Before Christmas Event on December 7, which the band is also curating.  With the name of the new album yet to be revealed, it is expected to be released early next year.  Stay tuned to the Wireless!
