Australian songstress Sarah Blasko returns to the stage this April with a theatre series of rare and intimate performances across the nation. The shows will feature two sets of music performed by Blasko backed by an eight-piece chamber ensemble, with an array of mystery musical guests appearing throughout the tour. Blasko will be joined on the stage by loyal accomplices, Robert F.Cranny and Jeff de Araujo, in an ensemble combining guitar, piano, percussion, strings, flutes and horns. In place of a support band, Sarah Blasko will play an extended set featuring highlights from her second album What The Sea Wants, The Sea Will Have as well as her debut The Overture & the Underscore. Blasko was also recently announced in the shortlist for the Australian Music Prize (see also see also news on The Grates/Augie March nominations). Dates:
