Now in its third year Essential returns for 2008. If you want to check out the next wave of Australia's hottest bright young things then it is the place to be.

This year will be the first time Essential will take place Melbourne. Presented at the Esplanade Hotel in St Kilda, across numerous stages.

In Sydney, it once again takes place across three venue spaces - The Gaelic Theatre, Four Provinces and The Madison Hotel.
