Augie March Take Home Two APRA Awards

On their return of a successful US tour, our favourite Melbournians Augie March have added another couple of awards to an ever increasing sack by taking home two APRA (Australian Performing Rights Association) Awards. Their ultra successful cut ‘One Crowded Hour’ took out the Song Of The Year award and their third longplayer Moo You Bloody Choir was awarded the Breakthrough Award Of The Year at the awards ceremony in Melbourne.

The band has also just returned from a successful run of dates in the US on the eve of the Stateside release of Moo You Bloody Choir in August this year. The band plans to return to the US later this year for some more dates, and for release throughout Europe. All this activity has delayed plans for a fourth LP, which was originally slated for a 2007 release.
