Bob Dylan Announces Extra Aussie Shows

For anyone that may have doubted it, Bob Dylan has just confirmed he well and truly is "the master of modern times" by announcing two shows in Sydney on Thursday July 16 and Melbourne on July 19. Tickets on sale 9am, Thursday, June 21.

New Interpol Website, Album and Tour Dates

Interpol has launched their new site, www.Interpolnyc.com which contains an exclusive video clip for "Pioneer to the Falls." The video was inspired by the new album artwork and shot in Los Angeles' Griffith Park. Plus, view photographs from Interpol's performance at Coachella.

Interpol’s third album Our Love to Admire will be released July 10th in the US and July 9th internationally.

Belles Will Ring Launch Album Across Australia

Turin Brakes Reveal New Album Details

After an eighteen month hiatus, Turin Brakes have just completed recording their fourth album Dark On Fire. The album was produced by the highly respected Ethan Johns, who has previously worked with Kings of Leon, Ray LaMontagne and Ryan Adams, amongst others.

One half of Turin Brakes, Olly Knights has dubbed the new album “edgy and downright slinky like nothing before". The album will be released on the 17th September, preceeded by the single Stalker on 10th September.

NY’s McCarren Park Pool Parties Return With A Killer Lineup

The McCarren Park Pool Parties, a free summer event and concert series, are back in Brooklyn for the second year. The Pool Parties made a huge splash in New York last year drawing an incomparable music lineup and energetic crowd. This year’s lineup gets even better and features special performances by Superchunk, Yo La Tengo, TV on the Radio, Blonde Redhead, Mark Ronson, Ted Leo & the Pharmacists and many other great artists. The Pool Parties kick off at the historic McCarren Park Pool this Sunday, June 24 at 2 pm with indie rock favorites, Superchunk and Brooklyn’s own Oakley Hall, and run every Sunday throughout the summer until August 19.

Magnetic Fields Give A Little Teaser

In a short statement on Stephin Merritt’s website, The Magnetic Fields have announced that the new album is now planned for release in early 2008. Exact dates and track information will follow in the coming months, but until then, Merritt continues to work on several theatre projects.
