Chicago-born Stephanie Dosen is being hailed as one of finest new singer-songwriters to emerge in 2007. Her beguiling breakthrough album, A Lily for The Spectre, was released to great critical acclaim this August and has seen comparisons to singers as diverse as Joni Mitchell, Nina Nastasia, Laura Cantrell and Sinead O'Connor. 

In September Dosen will perform in Australia for the very first time, touring with Holly Throsby and accompanied by ex-Cocteau Twin and Bella Union label boss Simon Raymonde on bass.
