A Hawk Aand A Hacksaw are back in the UK in September to play two very intimate shows at The Luminaire in London on 4th and 5th September. Jeremy Barnes and Heather Trost will be joined by the undoubted star of the spring tour, Cimbalom maestro Unger Balázs, for two nights of frenzied celebration of the music of Eastern Europe, both original and traditional songs. The shows will be recorded for possible future release. In addition, ‘God Bless The Ottoman Empire’ from The Way The Wind Blows will be released as a digital single on 24th September. As if that wasn’t all exciting enough, AHAAH have been invited to play All Tomorrow’s Parties (Nightmare Before Christmas) by festival curators Portishead. The event happens at Butlins Minehead on 7-9 December 2007.
