After a three year hiatu, there are rumours that Van Morrison has been in the studio working on the follow up to his largely misunderstood 1974 album Veedon Fleece. 

There has been talk that popular session musician Dr. John (Rolling Stones, Carly Simon) has been working with Morrison in the studio on the album throughout the winter of 1976.

Sources suggest that the album will see a release in the spring of this year.
